Twinkie gets two limited-edition flavors

IRVING, Texas — Hostess is promoting its classic Twinkie snack with two limited-edition flavors.

As part of Hostess' Twinkie Mania sweepstakes — in which Twinkie fans are being asked to vote for the newest flavor filling — the brand is introducing limited-edition Twinkies with chocolate creme and strawberry and creme fillings. The flavors now are available at retailers nationwide.

The Twinkie Mania sweepstakes calls on fans to select a new limited-edition flavor to join the Twinkie lineup, including raspberry tart, cookies 'n creme, blueberry pie and lemon meringue fillings. In addition, one lucky Twinkie lover will win $25,000 when registering two UPC codes online of specially marked packages of any variety of Twinkies, including 100 calorie pack Twinkie Bites, original vanilla creme Twinkies and the new chocolate creme and strawberry and creme Twinkies.
