Yonanas adds a twist to dairy-free ice cream
For those looking to add a twist to dairy-free ice cream, Yonanas may have the answer parents and children are looking for.
The Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based company’s tool allows children to create their own frozen treats by putting such frozen fruit as blueberries, strawberries and bananas down a chute, hitting a button and then watching as it's transformed into a sorbet.
The easy-to-assemble Yonanas Maker, which is dishwasher safe and designed to sit neatly on any kitchen counter, also won the Good Housekeeping’s Research Institute’s Very Innovative Products award, the company said.
The Yonanas Maker currently retails for as low as $35, and can be found at such retailers as Bed Bath and Beyond, Walmart and Amazon.
