Cheers won the Drug Store News Buyers Choice Award for its Restore after-alcohol aid during ECRM’s Weight Management, Nutrition, and Vitamin Session held last month in Las Vegas. ShakeSphere was a finalist for its Mirror Steel all-in-one shaker, flask and thermos.

Both products were selected from dozens of entries submitted by participating suppliers and displayed in the hospitality area of the session. Attending buyers evaluated each entry and cast their votes based on product packaging and innovation.

“Great products offer solutions for consumer needs,” said Craig Chmielowicz, senior vice president of health and beauty care for ECRM. “Whether it's preventing a hangover from an evening of overindulgence or enabling consumers to enjoy hot or cold beverages using the same shaker bottle, each of our winners has come up with innovative problem solving products. We congratulate them on their Buyers Choice Award win.”

Cheers develops science-backed supplements aimed at supporting the liver and helping consumers feel better after drinking. The brand’s line of capsule products are designed to be high-value, incremental impulse purchases for anyone who drinks alcohol and experiences alcohol-related need states — a demographic that the brand says includes roughly 145 million people.

Since airing on Shark Tank in 2018, the company has sold more than 25 million doses to over 500,000 customers, generated over $50 million in e-commerce revenue, and boasts more than 7,500 high-star reviews and ratings on Amazon.

Cheers Restore is an after-alcohol aid designed to help consumers drink smarter and feel better the day after drinking. Users take three capsules after their last drink and let it work while they sleep. Its patented formula contains industry-leading amounts of dihydromyricetin (DHM), cysteine, and other liver-supporting ingredients, which work together to help the liver process acetaldehyde (the toxic by-product of alcohol) and help the brain receptors recover from GABA rebound — both of which are primary reasons people don’t feel great the next morning after indulging, according to the company.

ShakeSphere is a family-run business that has grown year over year since its 2017 inception. CEO Rick Beardsell, an elite-level sprint athlete with numerous world and European titles, designed and developed the supplement shaker bottle to make it functional, hygienic and easy to use. The capsule shape featured within all ShakeSphere supplement shaker bottles is the driving force behind the brand. It mixes effortlessly without the need for a mixing ball or mesh grid, and with no corners, cleaning is easy.

ShakeSphere Mirror Steel is a shaker, flask and thermos all-in-one product, with a stylish look and scratch-resistant gloss mirror finish.

Here’s how it works: The copper lining between the double walls of steel ensures that drinks stay hot for eight hours and cold for 12 hours. This means the same bottle can be used for an ice-cold smoothie for breakfast, a frothy coffee as an afternoon pick-me-up and a smooth protein shake free of lumps after an evening gym session. The highly-polished non-stick interior is made using electrolysis which is designed to look great while showing the measurements of your drink.
