CVS Health brings HealthHub to 2 additional states
After making its Houston, Atlanta and Tampa debut, CVS Health announced that its HealthHub concept would be expanding to an additional two states.
The greater Philadelphia area, as well as Southern New Jersey will be able to experience health care that is simple, convenient, and affordable in 13 locations, the company said.
"We are delivering real change to the health care system," Alan Lotvin, the chief transformation officer for CVS Health said. "Through HealthHubs, consumers are at the center of an unmatched retail health experience. The HealthHub products and services are designed specifically with the consumer's health needs, challenges, and goals in mind, so that they can easily receive coordinated, personalized care in a familiar, neighborhood location."
HealthHub offers a broad range of services to help patients better manage their chronic conditions, as well as feature products and services focused on overall health and wellness.
"I am pleased that more Pennsylvanians will have access to quality, affordable health care through CVS HealthHub," U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) said. "Health care is a critical issue for so many of us, and I will continue to fight for access to health care until everyone has coverage to meet their needs."
In addition, HealthHub locations feature an on-site Care Concierge team that’s responsible for customer engagement, educating customer about new service offerings, helping navigate in-store services and events, as well as connecting them to a team of providers.
"This is an innovative step to connecting more people to the high-quality health care they deserve and the personalized support they need," State Senator Tim Kearney said. "I applaud CVS Health for investing in our communities and providing affordable solutions rooted in our neighborhoods."
