CVS Pharmacy expands OTC hearing aid offerings
CVS Health has expanded its availability of three over-the-counter hearing aids to more than 1,000 locations across 39 states, with five also available for purchase on CVS.com. With more than 1.5 billion people affected by hearing loss, this serves as the latest example of how the retailer is making health care easier and more accessible for customers in need of hearing aid solutions.
Customers aged 18 years old and older with self-perceived mild to moderate hearing loss also can access a convenient at-home online hearing screener tool online to undergo in just two minutes. This screener reflects the individual's ability to understand speech in the presence of background noise, something individuals with hearing difficulty typically struggle with, the company said.
