The product is the generic of Hospira’s Nitropress (sodium nitroprusside) Injection, 50 mg/2mL vial. 

The Nitropress brand and generics had a market value of approximately $8 million for the most recent 12 months ending in October 2019, according to IQVIA.

Dr. Reddy’s product is available in single-dose 50 mg/2 mL (25 mg/mL) vials.
