Salt Lake City-based Azova Health has debuted a new way for pharmacies to offer clinical services directly to consumers with the new Azova Digital Health Marketplace, which the company unveiled at the National Association of Chain Drug Stores Total Store Expo.
The Digital Health Marketplace allows pharmacies to join and offer clinical services for patients, while managing the patient alongside other healthcare providers through the platform enabling communication, collaboration and secure record sharing. Azova is offering free enrollment for all pharmacies to join the Digital Health Marketplace, with the goal of enrolling more than 20,000 retail and non-retail pharmacies, physicians, behavioral health providers and health-and-wellness providers by the end of 2020.

The marketplace technology is rapidly scalable offering access to patients through a seamless, organized and efficient user interface.”
The marketplace offers a resource for patients and consumers to find, select, purchases and complete healthcare assessments and receive treatments. It is designed to scale value-based care and chronic disease management programs with a direct channel t pharmacies and physicians, the company said. Within the platform, Azova said patients can access any clinical service offered by a pharmacist in less than three minutes.
“With Azova’s digital health platform, pharmacists are now equipped to extend service delivery and interface with patients and their providers,” said CEO Cheryl Lee Eberting.
