Bartell names senior category manager of food, beverage
Bartell Drugs has a longtime veteran overseeing its food and beverage category. The Seattle-based chain has named John Lewis senior category manager for food and beverage.
Lewis, a 34-year Bartell veteran, most recently was director of CareClinic, the retail clinics operated by Kaiser Permanente inside five Bartell stores. He also previously served for 11 years as district manager of two districts. The company noted that Lewis is returning to his original concentration of being a merchant.
“I’m very excited for John to join the merchandising team. His longstanding knowledge of Bartell’s structure and store operations will serve him well in his new position,” said Tammy Murry, Bartell Drugs director of merchandising.
