DSN Industry Issues Summit brings together top minds in mass retail

It’s truly a meeting of the minds — on overdrive.

Once again, Drug Store News’ Industry Issues Summit will bring together more than 60 retail executives from across the wide spectrum of mass retailing, as well as top suppliers, to discuss the state of the industry in broad-reaching panel discussions. The full-day event will be held on Dec. 4 at the Marriott Marquis in New York.

Executives from CVS Health, Walgreens, Rite-Aid, Walmart, Target, Sam’s Club, Publix, HEB and Kroger, among others, will again sit on panel discussions, along with other key industry officials, to discuss the latest trends in such areas as healthcare, pharmacy and beauty care.

To add some icing to the cake, the event will feature a keynote conversation between Daymond John and Damon Jones, vice president, Global Communications & Advocacy for Procter & Gamble. John is Presidential ambassador for Entrepreneurship, Shark Tank investor and founder of FUBU, which has more than $6 billion in global retail sales.

They will discuss how retail and consumer packaged goods companies can be a force for good and how diversity and inclusion can bring about social change and drive profits.

“We are extremely excited to once again bring a wide range of influential retailers and suppliers together to discuss the key issues facing our industry,” said John Kenlon, publisher of DSN. “Having Daymond and Damon on stage together, in an informal discussion, is guaranteed to be the high point of this event. I cannot wait to hear what comes out of that discussion.”
