Emergen-C shows support for health workers via ad campaign

4/30/2020

Emergen-C is looking to offer inspiration during a time when isolation and not being able to physically be with loved ones are challenges many are facing.

Through its new “Emerge Our Best” campaign, the Warren, N.J.-based company is promoting everyday wellness and daily behaviors that can aid in creating healthy habits.

In addition, the company is looking to help medical care workers, who need essential protective medical supplies, by donating $500,000 to Americares, a relief organization that helps those affected by poverty or disaster by providing medicine, medical supplies and health programs.

“With so much strife and strain in our communities right now, we sought to help by providing support and essential supplies, and Americares is the perfect partner to achieve that,” Emergen-C brand director Karen Bouhadana said. “Emergen-C promotes daily wellness, and by helping health workers who are tirelessly committed to protecting us, we are doing our part to help the collective emerge our best from this trying time.”

This specific donation will aid Americares in delivering such protective supplies as masks, gowns, gloves and disinfectants, as well as provide workshops and emotional support for health workers, the company said.

“Front line health workers need support now more than ever,” Americares president and CEO Christine Squires said. “We are incredibly thankful for the generous donation from Emergen-C, which will help us provide critical protective gear and training to this essential workforce and allow them to continue their life-saving work.”
