FDA approves Aurobindo's generic Singulair granules

The Food and Drug Administration has cleared Aurobindo’s generic of Merck's Singulair oral granules (montelukast sodium oral granules). The product was approved in a dosage strength of 4 mg.

Aurobindo's montelukast sodium oral granules are indicated to treat asthma, exercise-induced bronchoconstriction, and certain other allergies such as rhinitis.
