Fresh Cravings is looking to revamp the way consumers use dip.
The Phoenix-based brand, which is part of the FoodStory Brands portfolio, announced the launch of its new dairy-free dips.
Made from almonds and cashews, consumers can expect to fill their savory or sweet cravings thanks to such ingredients as coconut amino, chia and hemp, the company said.
Sold in 8-oz. tubs, new launches include — Kickin’ Queso Style Cashew Dip, Zesty Ranch Cashew Dip, Creamy Dill Cashew Dip, Creamy Garlic Almond Dip, Spicy Garlic Almond Dip and Smokehouse Almond Dip.
"We believe that plant-based foods are not a trend, it's a shift in consumer preference and is moving to become a lasting part of the American culinary lifestyle. Until now, Fresh Cravings has been known as a refrigerated salsa brand, and this launch positions us as a significant player in the growing plant-based food space," the FoodStory Brands president, Jay Whitney said. In addition, each of Fresh Cravings’ new dips also are free of preservatives, soy and gluten, the company said.
Shoppers can find the plant-based dips at Walmart, Publix and additional grocery chains.
