The hard seltzer shelf is expanding.
Funky Buddha is entering the space with its own collection of hard seltzers, which contain a 4.5% ABV, and are available in four flavors — tropical mango guava, lush key lime cherry, juicy blood orange and crisp pink grapefruit.
Containing just 90 calories per serving, 1 g of carbohydrates and 0 g of sugar, Funky Buddha Premium Hard Seltzer uses such ingredients as alcohol like cane sugar and blue agave syrup in its products, the Oakland Park, Fla.-based company said.
“When we were making a seltzer, we knew we had to make it funky the way we know how using flavorful quality ingredients, and we had fun creating flavor combinations that went bolder than any other seltzer brand in the market,” Ryan Sentz, director of brewing operations and co-founder of Funky Buddha Brewery, said. “The flavor profiles of each seltzer resulted in a cooler refreshing experience that we think will appeal to our loyal funky fans and new drinkers once they take their first sip.”
Available in a variety pack of 12-oz. cans that retail for $18.99, Funky Buddha Premium Hard Seltzers are available throughout Florida at such retailers as Publix, Walmart, Winn-Dixie and Whole Foods Market.
