10/15/2019

Godiva is looking to change the way consumers bake their sweets.

To do so, the brand is unveiling its new line of premium baking chocolates, which can be used in any homemade dessert or decadent cakes, the company said.

Comprised of three products, the full lineup includes:

  • Baking Bars, which are available in milk, semi-sweet, bittersweet and unsweetened chocolate;
  • Melting Chocolates, which come in milk and dark chocolate; and
  • Baking Chips, which are available in milk, semi-sweet and bittersweet chocolate.

"We are delighted to introduce new Godiva baking chocolates to baking enthusiasts and chocolate lovers to inspire delicious desserts they can share with friends, family and loved ones," Caroline Le Roch, president of Americas, Godiva Chocolatier said. "This is an exciting addition to our growing presence at grocery stores, making the iconic taste of Godiva more accessible across the country. In addition to new Godiva baking chocolates, chocolate lovers can enjoy the high-quality Godiva taste in the baking aisle with our premium baking and pudding mixes, or head to the candy aisle for our individually wrapped Masterpieces Collection and Goldmark Gift Collection."

In addition, each Godiva baking bar and chip package includes original recipes for such treats as whipped milk chocolate frosting, double-chocolate cheesecake, ultimate brownies and classic chocolate chip cookies.

Shoppers can find the new additions to Godiva’s premium baking chocolate line in the baking aisle of such retailers as Walmart, Kroger, Target, Publix, Hy-Vee and Wegmans for the suggested retail price of $3 to $5.
