H-E-B’s New Braunfels location features new department

The recently opened New Braunfels location features a Home by H-E-B department store and True Texas BBQ restaurant.

H-E-B has opened the doors to a new store in New Braunfels, Texas, which features a brand new department and two-story restaurant.

The 122,000-sq.-ft. store, which houses a Home by H-E-B department store and True Texas BBQ restaurant, offers an expansive product assortment and convenient services that customers have come to expect from the retailer.

Named one of the best barbecue chains in Texas, H-E-B’s two-story True Texas BBQ restaurant features indoor seating on both levels.

The Home by H-E-B department, which offers the Haven + Key and Texas Proud brands, features timeless home textiles, inspiring décor, versatile furniture and accent pieces. Within the Haven + Key line, consumers can shop for textiles, rugs, throw blankets and accent furniture.

The Texas Proud assortment celebrates the state of Texas, but also features items made by such Texas-based artisans and businesses as wood and antler art from Broken Antler in Converse, leather goods from Lucio Tailoring in San Antonio, cowhide benches from Texas Bench Worx in Luling and hand-poured candles from Rustic Swank in New Braunfels.

“We are thrilled to bring a new H-E-B store to New Braunfels, which introduces our customers to some exciting features and departments that are firsts for our company,” said Julie Bedingfield, H-E-B public affairs manager. “With an enhanced in-store experience and commitment to top-quality service and selection, this new store is tailored to serve the needs of this growing community and provide our customers with the best we have to offer

The location is set to offer fresh food options and innovative services that allow shoppers to choose how they shop, pay for and receive their products, the company said.

Moreover, shoppers will be able to find the signature features and conveniences they have come to expect from the retailer, such as expanded product selections and H-E-B curbside and home delivery.

Lastly, the company said the new store will employ more than 500 partners, adding about 150 new positions.

To celebrate the opening of the store, H-E-B donated $10,000 each to McKenna Children’s Museum and Communities in Schools of South Central Texas.
