Hallmark Mahogany rolls out greeting card giveaway for Black History Month

Hallmark Mahogany, the brand’s arm that celebrates Black culture, is giving away one million greeting cards.

The giveaway, which is being held in celebration of Black History Month, will include a three-pack of cards that can be shared with friends and family, and contain culturally authentic designs and words of affirmation, the company said.

“Black History Month is not only a time of reverence, it’s a joyous recognition of the spirit of the Black community and the contributions that countless Black Americans have made throughout the years,” Lindsey Roy, the chief marketing officer at Hallmark Cards said. “That celebratory spirit is at the heart of the Mahogany brand 365 days a year, and our hope is that this giveaway of one million cards spreads even more encouragement, hope and pride during Black History Month and beyond.”

In addition, each pack of greeting cards also will contain the line’s newest collection — Uplifted and Empowered, which aims to capture the beauty, significance and power of Black lives.
