After previously announcing the launch of an alcoholic Mtn Dew beverage, Boston Beer announced the product’s launch.
Hard Mtn Dew — available in original, Baja blast, black cherry and watermelon — contains no caffeine, 0 g of added sugar and 100 calories per serving, the company said.

Featuring 5% alcohol by volume, the beverage’s packaging contains differentiated graphics to highlight the included alcohol.
“Boston Beer and PepsiCo share a passion for pushing boundaries and delivering innovative new beverages that meet the evolving demands of U.S. drinkers,” Lesya Lysyj, chief marketing officer at Boston Beer said. “Hard Mtn Dew delivers on the bold, citrus flavors of the soft drink fans know and love, now with an added bite of 5% ABV.”

Created for consumers of legal drinking age, Hard Mtn Dew is available in 24-oz. single-serve cans and a 12-pack of 12-oz. cans across Florida, Tennessee and Iowa.
Expanded availability will be announced throughout 2022, the company said.
