Creating this simple, but powerful and colorful change to our iconic milk chocolate bar serves as a reminder of how important they are in our lives,” Veronica Villasenor, vice president, U.S., The Hershey Co., said “So grab a Hershey’s bar, share one and celebrate all women and girls through a simple, and sweet, gesture.”
In addition, Hershey announced that it would be partnering with Girls on the Run, a nonprofit organization that focuses on supporting, empowering and inspiring girls to realize their potential. As part of the partnership, the company will donate $150,000 to the organization.
“For over 25 years, Girls on the Run has inspired girls and women to be confident and resilient while finding strength in connection with one another,” Elizabeth Kunz, CEO of Girls on the Run said. “We are proud to partner with Hershey’s Celebrate She campaign to shine a light on all the amazing SHEs in our lives!”

Hershey’s is also inviting the public to share the photo and story of a woman they want to be celebrated on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram with the hashtag #CelebrateSHE, which will be shared on the brand’s social channels throughout the month of March.
Lastly, the brand is also debuting a campaign ad that stars actress and writer Mindy Kaling.
“Girls rule. Celebrate accordingly,” Mindy Kaling said.
