Hi-School Pharmacy Services receives Compliance Team's Community Pharmacy Accreditation

Hi-School Pharmacy Services, an independently-owned drug store chain headquartered in Vancouver, Wash., was recently awarded Exemplary Provider accredited status by The Compliance Team, a nationally recognized independent healthcare accreditation organization based in suburban Philadelphia, Pa.

Nineteen Hi-School Pharmacy locations were accredited for community pharmacy. Three locations were also accredited for long-term care pharmacy and one location was accredited for non-sterile compounding.

The Compliance Team’s Community Pharmacy accreditation supports the independent pharmacy provider in meeting the needs of their patients at the highest level. Recipients of Exemplary Provider accreditation must demonstrate outstanding healthcare delivery practices during a rigorous on-site facility evaluation.

The Compliance Team’s accreditation programs streamline day-to-day operations, benchmark patients’ satisfaction, improve the patient/pharmacy experience and position the provider organization for long-term growth. Long-term care and non-sterile compounding accreditations are sub-specialties of community pharmacy and, respectively, allow the pharmacy to work directly with LTC facilities and provide higher levels of patient medication needs.
