Hostess adds caffeinated boost to Jumbo Donettes

Hostess is adding a jolt of caffeine to its donuts.

New from the brand are the Boost Jumbo Donettes, which contain approximately 50 to 70 mg of caffeine.

“For adults who are increasingly looking for alternative sources of caffeine, our new Hostess Boost Jumbo Donettes offer a tasty, energy-boosting, grab-and-go way to jumpstart the day,” Christopher Balach, general manager of Hostess Brands said. 

Sized three times bigger than the original Donettes mini donuts, the Boost Jumbo Donettes are caffeinated with coffee bean extract and contain a light glaze.

Available in chocolate mocha, which contains notes of chocolate and espresso coffee; and caramel macchiato, which features caramel and espresso coffee flavors, both varieties come in a 2.5-oz. single-serve package.

Retailing for $2.49 each, Hostess’ Boost Jumbo Donettes are available for purchase at convenience stores nationwide.
