Kellogg’s is looking to help parents prepare for the upcoming “Frozen 2” overload, by launching a new collaboration with Disney.
The collaboration is set to include cereal, snacks and breakfast items inspired by the film, as well as specially marked in-pack giveaway and movie snack cash offers, the Battle Creek, Mich.-based company said.
“This collaboration enables families to bring home the enchantment of ‘Frozen 2’ with some of their favorite, classic Kellogg's snacks and breakfast items,” Zion Doran, the senior director of promotions at Kellogg said. “Kellogg's is offering delightful ways for families to celebrate the new sequel: from our new ‘Frozen 2’ Kellogg's cereal to collectible temporary tattoos featuring beloved characters and so much more.”
With the Disney’s “Frozen 2” cereal, consumers can enjoy bites of multicolored leaves and Olaf marshmallows. Anna, Elsa and Olaf can be found in the snack and frozen food aisle with the brand’s Eggo Waffles, Cheez-It Crackers and Keebler Graham Crackers.
In addition, specially marked Kellogg’s cereals will include one free temporary tattoo of a popular film character, and when parents purchase three specially marked boxes of the movie snack cash packages, they will receive a $6 movie-snack cash reward that can be redeemed in theaters, the company said.
Disney’s “Frozen 2” hits theaters on Nov. 22, and the special-edition Kellogg’s products will only be available while supplies last.
