Kroger inks new agreement with Express Scripts

Kroger Health announced a new agreement with Express Scripts, Evernorth's pharmacy benefit services business.

The new agreement provides Express Scripts customers with access to prescription medications and health services at the Kroger Family of Pharmacies.

"At Kroger Health, we believe everyone should have access to comprehensive health care," said Colleen Lindholz, president of Kroger Health. "We look forward to again serving Express Scripts customers. This agreement reaffirms our commitment to bringing high-quality services to more customers across the country."

Under the new agreement, the Kroger Family of Pharmacies immediately resumes serving customers who are part of Express Scripts' Medicare Part D plans and Tricare/Department of Defense plans. Additionally, Express Scripts commercial and Medicaid clients can add Kroger Family of Pharmacies to their respective networks. Collectively, these plans cover more than 100 million people in the United States.
