Luna adds prebiotics to bars

There’s a new Luna bar in town.

The brand has launched its latest offering, which contains 2.5 g of prebiotics.

Created to aid in promoting digestive health, each bar also contains 8 g of protein and is gluten-free, the company said.

Available in two flavors, consumers can choose from:

• Wild Cherry, which contains a sweet cherry flavor with a hint of tartness, as well as visible pieces of dried fruit and a vanilla-flavored coating; and
• Tangerine Zest, which features a tangerine citrus taste with fruit zest and a vanilla-flavored coating.

In addition, each bar contains organic rolled oats, and is made without the use of high fructose corn syrup or artificial flavors, and is non-GMO, the company said.

Currently, Luna with 2.5 g prebiotics is available for purchase online in packs of 15 bars that retail for $19.50.
