Market Performance Group acquires Wodika Devine
Market Performance Group, a leading end-to-end, strategy and services omnichannel commerce agency, has acquired Wodika Devine, a boutique manufacturers’ representative company that has made its mark providing value to Meijer, Walgreens, their consumers and the brands it represents.
MPS said the acquisition is a natural progression for the company, which continues to expand its retailer-specific capabilities to drive success at grocery retailers nationwide. Under former Wakefern executive Chris Skyers’ leadership, MPG’s Grocery team now has over 110 associates dedicated to the Grocery Channel, offering representation in all categories, deep retailer relationships nationwide and robust analytical capabilities.

“Our goal at MPG is to curate teams that deeply understand our retail partners’ specific consumers and success requirements. This acquisition solidifies our commitment to delivering top talent and service in this channel. By uniting these two leading teams, we expand their collective reach and unlock greater opportunities for our brand partners,” said George Cleary, CEO of MPG. “We are pleased to add the talent and expertise of Dana Wodika, Dave Devine, and their team. Importantly, they share our passion, drive, and commitment to creating client value through deep operator experience, retailer-dedicated sales teams and a laser focus on actionable shopper analytics.”
Like MPG, Wodika Devine has earned a strong reputation for helping brands and manufacturers innovate, operate and excel, ultimately enhancing the shopping experience. With offices in Southfield and Grand Rapids, Mich., Wodika Devine was founded by Dana Wodika and Dave Devine 20 years ago and has long driven success for food, beverage and consumer goods at Meijer and Walgreens. “We are excited to join MPG to continue providing the highest levels of service to our clients, while leveraging MPG’s broader omnichannel capabilities for enhanced support and tailored omnichannel solutions.”
