Meiji Hello Panda adds creamy caramel flavor
Meiji Hello Panda’s snack line is adding a sweet, creamy flavor to its offerings.
New from the York, Pa.-based company’s lineup is the caramel flavor, which combines the tastes of a creamy caramel treat with that of a crisp cracker in a panda-head shaped design.
“We wanted to create a flavor that had the potential to be a close second to chocolate in terms of consumer appeal and sales volume,” Ken Vlazny, senior vice president of sales and marketing said. “Meiji Hello Panda caramel went through several rounds of testing and flavor refinement, and the flavor we are introducing has tested extremely well with consumers.”
Available in its signature hexagonal 21.1-oz. box that retails for $1.39, Meji Hello Panda snacks in caramel also come in a standard 2.2-oz. pillow bag for $1.39, a hexagonal .75-oz. multipack for $3.59, and a 7-oz. standup pouch for $3.49.
