Mtn Dew’s berry kiwi-flavored beverage quenches thirst

There’s a new, refreshing Mtn Dew beverage hitting shelves.

Uproar is the latest flavor launch from the Orlando, Fla.-based company, which is launching exclusively at Food Lion stores.

Featuring a blend of berry and kiwi flavors, the beverage features a packaging design with vibrant colors and a roaring lion to capture the essence of the brand’s fearless and energetic spirit, the company said.

“Food Lion has been a longtime partner of Mtn Dew, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring them their first-ever exclusive Dew flavor innovation,” Jenny Figueroa, the senior director of marketing at PepsiCo Beverages North America’s South Division said. “Dew Nation is adventurous and bold, and we wanted to give our fans at Food Lion a unique flavor charged combination that reflects their discerning tastes. A delicious mouth-watering berry kiwi flavor with a Dew twist, Mtn Dew Uproar is unlike any beverage ever tasted and bound to delight fans.”

In addition, the packaging also gives a slight nod to the brand’s collaboration with the retailer.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Mtn Dew to launch this new, limited-time flavor exclusively for our customers,” Kevin Pruitt, the category manager at Food Lion said. “We pride ourselves in being able to offer our customers the latest products relevant to them and are sure Mtn Dew Uproar will be a hit.”

Available for a limited time, Mtn Dew Uproar can be found exclusively at Food Lion’s 1,100 stores across North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Delaware in 20-oz. and 2-liter bottles.
