On Wednesday, May 15, March of Dimes hosted its 42nd Annual March of Dimes Gourmet Gala at the National Building Museum in Washington, DC. The National Association of Chain Drug Stores Foundation returned for its eighth year as a Platinum Sponsor of the evening.

March of Dimes leads the fight for the health of all moms and babies, supporting research, leads programs, education and advocacy so that every family can have the best possible start.

This year, the Gourmet Gala united 55 Members of Congress for a cook-off competition, more than 100 sponsors and more than 700 guests. The event, which raised nearly $1.5 million, highlighted the commitment of the community to support the organization nationwide.

During the event, Steve Anderson, president and CEO of NACDS, delivered remarks in his capacity as chairman of the NACDS Foundation.
