NACDS kicks off Health Starts Here in 2025 campaign

As part of NACDS’ ongoing Nourish My Health public education campaign—which exists as part of the Association’s Health and Wellness Innovation Initiative—NACDS is showcasing NACDS member pharmacies and their commitment to providing total health and wellness solutions to people, wherever they are on their health journey.

The social media campaign, dubbed Health Starts Here in 2025, demonstrates the vital role of pharmacies and pharmacists when it comes to personalized and preventive care.

“We are proud recognize the role that pharmacy plays in building healthy communities,” said NACDS president and CEO Steve Anderson. “A one-stop community healthcare destination, pharmacies are uniquely positioned to deliver comprehensive care to people of all ages, helping them prioritize their health and wellbeing.

“In September 2024, we celebrated Nourish My Health’s one-year anniversary. As we enter 2025, NACDS looks forward to continuing to leverage its public health initiative to educate Americans on the critical role that nutrition plays in preventing and managing many chronic diseases.”

Nourish My Health—a collaboration with leading national health organizations—was developed in 2023 to improve nutrition and reduce disease. Nourish My Health encourages baseline health screening to understand disease risks; offers healthy food guides and nutrition information; hosts resources for professionals; and hosts a nutrition security survey which informs meaningful access solutions.
