Nestlé Pure Life intros children’s fruity water

7/24/2020

Water is about to become a whole lot more fun and flavorful thanks to Nestlé Pure Life Purified Water.

The Stamford, Conn.-based company is launching a new line of flavored water for children — Nestlé Pure Life Fruity Water.

Containing 100% pure quality water with a touch of natural fruit flavors, as well as electrolytes for taste, the collection is free of sugar, sweeteners, preservatives and artificial colors, the company said.

“As a mother of four, I know that teaching kids to love drinking water can be a challenge, and many children gravitate towards high calorie, sugar-sweetened beverages,” Yumi Clevenger-Lee, executive vice president and chief marketing officer at Nestlé Waters North America, said. “Parents not only want their kids to be healthy, but they also want them to be happy, which is why we're excited to introduce a new flavored water designed specifically for kids that makes drinking water fun and more enjoyable.”

Packaged in a Tetra Pak carton with a paper straw, the beverage is available in three flavors — apple, watermelon and tropical twist.

“As part of our commitment to help Americans lead healthier lives, we are always listening to consumers and developing products to meet their needs for health and convenience,” Clevenger-Lee said. “One specific need parents shared with us was for a healthy drink that would fit in kids' lunch boxes, which is why we are launching Nestlé Pure Life Fruity Water in a Tetra Pak.”

Available in packs of eight that retail for $3.99, packs of 24 for $14.99 and 32 packs, Nestlé Pure Life Fruity Water can be found at Amazon.com and Walmart.com.
