Newly rebranded CosPro Marketing broadens its focus
The company formerly known as Cosmetic Promotions has a new name and wider focus. The Winter Park, Fla.-based company has rebranded as CosPro Marketing and is pivoting to be a larger player In the wellness arena.
CEO Joann Marks noted that while beauty remains a cornerstone of the company, which she started 30 years ago with a focus on beauty, CosPro Marketing is responding to changes in consumer interests related to health and wellness.
As a result, the company has engineered several successful small-scale pilots and is readying to roll out large-scale integrated programs for the health, personal care and wellness space. With a new $3.5 million, 50,000-sq.-ft. warehouse in Orlando, Fla., Marks said the company is ready to fulfill millions of sampling kits via direct mail, as well as gift-with-purchase programs from e-commerce promotions.
“We’ve been designing and executing fulfillment projects for major U.S. retailers for over 30 years,” Marks said. “We truly have an unmatched, unique capability to coordinate the efforts of hundreds of suppliers to integrate complex packages for sampling and product delivery programs of any scale.”
As it begins to roll out its wellness-focused offerings, Marks said that the company would continue to be an expert when it comes to interaction and training tools for in-store beauty consultants. Beyond training, the company distributes nearly 120,000 kits directly to stores’ beauty consultants. In 2019, CosPro Marketing distributed more than 16 million samples to shoppers.
“CosPro Marketing is an integral part of our beauty consultant event strategy. They pull all the stakeholders together and help simplify the logistics to execute in-store events that engage vendors, colleagues, and customers,” said Donna Martin the beauty service strategy director at CVS Pharmacy. “Tracie Gilbert manages a world-class team, which has enabled seamless event execution across a wide geographic area. I appreciate everything they do to help make our program successful.”
