A&P senior director of pharmacy promoted

MONTVALE, N.J. A&P has promoted Carol DiNicolantonio to VP pharmacy.

Previously, DiNicolantonio was the senior director of pharmacy. In that role she supervised 20 direct reports and more than 800 pharmacists. She was also responsible for more than $500 million in annual sales for 247 pharmacies spanning six states. She directed all aspects of pharmacy operations, marketing, merchandising and health and wellness programs for the company.

DiNicolantonio’s promotion to VP, added a spokesperson, comes “in recognition and appreciation of her performance and leadership in her respective business unit. Carol… did not replace anyone in the position,” the spokesperson told Drug Store News.

In addition, she developed and implemented the company's Live Better! Wellness Program, which provides discounts on OTC items and a wide range of grocery products that promote a healthy lifestyle.
