App allows iPhone photo delivery, drug store pickup
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. — A new app for the iPhone allows users to have prints of their photos sent to the address of their choice or pick them up at CVS.
SmartPhoto Express includes features like selection of photos from the camera roll, selection of print size, editing and enhancement of photos, and multiple prints. The company said same-day pickup of photo prints was currently available at nationwide locations of the second-largest drug store chain in the United States.
"Every day, more photos are taken with the iPhone than with any other camera," SmartPhoto App CEO Jane Goldwasser said. "Our goal with SmartPhoto Express is to provide photo-printing freedom. It's now simpler than ever to snap and share photos taken with smartphones, but there is a large segment of iPhone users who also want prints, but aren't aware of the possibilities."
