SAA gifts eyewear to Lions Club

Kmart awards top pharmacists

Kmart has named Linda Freeman of Tampa, Fla., its 2006 National Pharmacist of the Year, and tapped three other company practitioners for divisional pharmacist of the year honors. Named Central Division Pharmacist of the Year is Mark Feightner of Enid, Okla. Taking top honors for the West Division is Tabitha Cooper, of Texarkana, Texas, while Sheilah Walker of Norfolk, Va.,won the title of 2006 Northeast Division Pharmacist of the Year. The four were chosen from Kmart’s network of more than 1,100 pharmacies in 46 states for making “a positive impact on their stores, their customers and their communities” through such Kmart programs as in-store flu immunizations, the company’s 90-day generic program and a variety of in-store health education clinics.
