Bartell Drugs adds industry vet to board

9/1/2015

SEATTLE — Bartell Drugs’ board of directors has a new member. The family-owned chain announced Tuesday that Frank Segrave had been named to the board, replacing Bartell Drugs’ recently appointed CEO and president Brian Unmacht. Segrave is the president and CEO of Silvergate Pharmaceuticals.

“Frank has wide-ranging experience and stature within our industry, and both [Bartell vice-chairman and treasurer] Jean and I are very excited about the perspectives he’ll bring to the board as we plan for future growth and success,” George Bartell, chairman of the board, said.

Before founding Silvergate in 2010, Segrave served as VP at Cardinal Health, overseeing U.S. and overseas operations and before that was VP pharmacy at Walmart.
