Bartell surges on with new store opening
SEATTLE Just a little over a month after opening its 55th store in a Seattle suburb, Bartell Drugs soon will open its 56th.
The Seattle-based retail pharmacy chain announced Wednesday its plan to open a store in Mill Creek, Wash., on Monday. The chain opened a store in Lynnwood, Wash., on July 20.
The 14,960 square-foot Mill Creek store, at 18001 Bothell-Everett Highway, will be opened in a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. Tuesday, with members of the Bartell family and local dignitaries attending. The store will include a full-service pharmacy with a drive-through window and a retail clinic, as well as personal and beauty products, OTC products, foods and digital photo print kiosks.
“This is the second store we have opened within a month in Snohomish County,” chairman and CEO George Bartell said in a statement. “We’re constantly looking for ways to better serve our customers with convenient locations.”
