Bashas.com gets a makeover

CHANDLER, Ariz. Family-owned supermarket chain Bashas’ has revamped its Web site.

The Web site, www.bashas.com, features a white frame over a bronze background and interactive features such as pull-down menus and a link to the chain’s Twitter feed.

It also has a link to a Web site about the chain’s Chapter 11 restructuring. The company filed for bankruptcy in July. Still, according to published reports, it recently rejected a $290 million buyout offer from Albertsons.
