Better Oats expands Oat Revolution line
MINNEAPOLIS — Better Oats announced today the addition of three new steel-cut instant oatmeal varieties to the brand’s Oat Revolution line. The new oatmeal is one of the fastest cooking steel-cut oats products on the market, allowing consumers to enjoy all the taste, flavor and health attributes of steel cut oats in just two and a half minutes cook time.
Available in three varieties, the new Oat Revolution steel-cut oats have flaxseed and carry the 100% Whole Grain stamp from the Whole Grains Council. They’re also a good source of fiber and ALA omega-3, and are considered heart healthy.
"This innovative new oatmeal is great for busy people who want the taste and texture of slow-cook steel-cut oatmeal, as well as the speed of cooking by microwave,” said Linda Fisher, director of corporate communications for MOM Brands, the parent company of Better Oats. “What makes this oatmeal even more convenient is the built-in measuring cup pouch — just another way we’re finding better ways to make a better breakfast.”
The new varieties of Oat Revolution steel-cut oatmeal are currently available at more than 1,000 Kroger and Safeway stores, including Dominick’s, Randalls, Dillon’s and Fred Meyer. The steel cut oats also will be hitting shelves at other retailers nationwide over the next several months. Check the MOM Brands online store locator to find a retailer near you. Varieties include:
- Oat Revolution Steel Cut Maple & Brown Sugar;
- Oat Revolution Steel Cut Classic; and
- Oat Revolution Steel Cut Apples & Cinnamon.
The Better Oats instant oatmeal brand was introduced in 2010 as part of MOM Brands’ growing brand portfolio. All 12 of the company’s brands are available in major supermarkets, specialty grocers and superstores nationwide.
