BloodSTOP enters Kerr’s first aid set

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. —Kerr Drug recently folded the bleeding control solution BloodSTOP hemostatic gauze, manufactured by LifeScience PLUS, into its first aid set.

Resembling a traditional bandage, BloodSTOP acts in less than a minute, reducing clotting times by as much as 75%. When applied to a wound, BloodSTOP quickly absorbs blood and other body fluids, transforms into a gel to seal the wound with a protective transparent layer, actively aids in blood coagulation and creates an environment for wound healing.
