Boldface, Kardashians ink licensing deal for color cosmetics
LOS ANGELES — Boldface Licensing + Branding, a celebrity beauty license company, has announced the launch of its initial license for color cosmetics: Khroma Beauty by Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Kardashian.
Khroma Beauty aims to offer products at affordable pricing with how-to insider and behind-the-scenes tips provided by the Kardashians and their make-up artists via Twitter and YouTube.
Boldface founders Nicole Ostoya and Robin Coe-Hutshing, bring expertise in fragrance, color and treatment product development in all channels of distribution from prestige to mass, as well as access to celebrities of all levels. The pair co-founded the design and development firm Gold Grenade in 2010, which focuses on product development and design that has launched two new brands, The New Black and Kissing Elixirs. The brands are sold in Sephora, Nordstrom, Whole Foods, Henri Bendel, Beauty.com, Mecca Cosmetica AU, Beautyhabit, Shoppers Drug, Murale and other stores worldwide.
Boldface intends to expand its licensing to represent a series of relevant celebrities and designers in the categories of beauty, fragrance, cosmetics and home fragrance in multiple channels of distribution.
