CAMDEN, N.J. — Campbell's is bringing modern epicurean offerings to the table.
The company said it is expanding its lineup of soups that are bolder and appeal to diverse palates. The latest innovations include:
Six new Campbell's Go soups, which draw inspiration from global cuisines. The soups, packaged in convenient, microwavable pouches, are available in such varieties as Moroccan-style chicken with chickpeas soup and coconut curry with chicken and shiitake mushrooms soup;
Campbell's Chunky brand is rolling out three new varieties: Jammin' Jerk chicken with rice and beans, Kickin' Buffalo-style chicken and chipotle chicken and corn chowder;
Four new Campbell's gourmet bisques, which provide complex layers of on-trend flavor combinations, including sweet potato tomatillo and Thai tomato coconut;
Campbell's Slow Kettle style soups has added two new soup varieties: Kickin' crab and sweet corn chowder with flame-roasted onions and cayenne pepper and roasted chicken and chardonnay with fire-roasted tomatoes, aged parmesan and pasta; and
Campbell's line of condensed soups now includes sun-ripened yellow tomato soup, which builds on the success of last year's introduction of harvest orange tomato soup.
"With bolder, more vibrant flavors and contemporary packaging, we're upping the ante with our new soup offerings," Campbell North America president Mark Alexander said. "Campbell is reframing what soup means, with a variety of new choices that tempt the taste buds and fit the lifestyle of the millennial generation and beyond. This is the new face and flavor of Campbell Soup Co."
