CARE Pharmacies announces new store locations

ALEXANDRIA, Va. CARE Pharmacies on Tuesday announced that 10 new pharmacy locations have been added to the company’s network roster, with new stores in Virginia, Maryland and New Jersey.

In addition, CARE Pharmacies has added two stores to its affiliate program — Elwyn Pharmacy located in Media, Pa., and Elwyn Specialty Pharmacy in Glen Mills, Pa.

“CARE’s new affiliate program is a value proposition for pharmacies that have expanded their business beyond the standard retail model,” stated Nick Karalis, owner of the two Elwyn pharmacies. “I am excited to join the CARE family and benefit from this new relationship.”

CARE has accreted $50 million in annual sales with these new store additions, which, if added to its fiscal 2008 sales, would push the independent conglomerate north of $265 million in annual sales.
