Costco opens new store
ISSAQUAH, Wash. Costco Wholesale Corp. opened a new store in Hawthorne, Calif., Friday morning, the membership-based mass merchandiser announced.
The company said the store, called Costco Business Center, was meant to better serve businesses in the Los Angeles area. The store is similar to other Costco stores, but has several differences, such as earlier shopping hours and a delivery service for businesses.
“Our Business Centers cater to businesses by offering products for their specific needs,” Costco Wholesale VP Business Centers Phil Lind stated.
The store stocks items including office supplies, vending products, foods for restaurants and institutions, and convenience store items.
