CVS Health's Lou Mercado talks diversity in Diversity Journal article

WOONSOCKET, R.I. — In speaking with Diversity Journal, CVS Health’s VP of inventory management Lou Mercado discussed the importance of hiring diverse colleagues and shared how he is incorporating diversity across his team.



“Our Strategic Diversity Management team provides tremendous support throughout the organization to ensure that we are executing on that strategy. I personally pay it forward through incorporating diversity across my team. We are committed to hiring qualified and successful leaders and, more important, making sure that they have a clear path to succeed in our company,” Mercado told the publication.



Mercado also shared the best career advice he has received from a mentor and revealed his career advice to others.
