CVS names advisory panel for All the Ways You Care campaign

12/3/2007

WOONSOCKET, R.I. As part of its For All the Ways You Care campaign, CVS has created a new advisory panel that will search for 10 women to be honored for their caregiving efforts in their own families and communities.

Led by Lee Woodruff, author and wife of ABC news correspondent and anchor Bob Woodruff, the panel includes other prominent women with a commitment to caring: Alma Powell, chair of America’s Promise Alliance and wife of Colin Powell; women’s health experts Dr. Donnica Moore and Dr. Alice Domar; and Ladies’ Home Journal editor-in-chief Diane Salvatore.

As members of the advisor board, the panelists will post their own personal caregiving stories at the campaign Web site, www.ForAllTheWaysYouCare.com, and participate in a variety of campaign related activities to encourage and advise women.

The panel will review stories submitted to the site and select 10 stories that most exemplify a dedication and devotion to caring. CVS will honor those people at a luncheon and weekend in New York City in early 2008. One person will receive $25,000 and nine others will receive $10,000 from CVS in appreciation of their commitment to caring.
