Daily Diversion: Walmart gets spooky

As Halloween nears, everyone is getting into the spirit of the holiday, whether you’re scrambling for a last minute costume or ready with a long-planned outfit. Walmart is also getting into the spirit of Halloween, working with writer and comedian Paul Soter of Broken Lizard, the comedy group behind the films ”Super Troopers,” “Beerfest” and “Club Dread” for an exclusive story called “Feed the Moon.” The 17-minute recording hearkens back to the era of Orson Welles’ “War of the Worlds,” telling the story of one man’s trip to Walmart that is anything but ordinary.
