Digestive center seeking proposals for IBD research
NEW YORK The Penn-CHOP Center for Digestive, Liver and Pancreatic Medicine announced last week that it is seeking pilot and feasibility project proposals related to clinical, basic science and transitional research projects related to inflammatory bowel disease.
The center said all projects should involve either pediatric and adult patients with IBD or focus on a research question related to IBD that involves the transition from childhood to adulthood.
Three applications will each receive a one-year budget of $25,000.
The center said all applicants must be members of the Penn and CHOP scientific community and United States citizens or permanent residents. They must also be new investigators who have never had extramural support from the National Institutes of Health, established investigators in other areas of basic biomedical or clinical research or established clinical or basic digestive disease investigators.
