DAYTON, N.J. — Aurobindo Pharma announced Tuesday that the Food and Drug Administration had approved the company’s generic of Ultram (tramadol HCL) extended-release tablets. The drug is indicated to manage moderate to moderately severe chronic pain.
Aurobindo’s generic will be available in 100-, 200- and 300-mg tablets. The drug had U.S. sales of about $64.4 million for the 12 months ended August 2015.
