FDA approves two Glenmark generics

MUMBAI, India — Glenmark Pharmaceuticals announced Thursday that the Food and Drug Administration had approved two of the company’s generic drugs. 

 

The company’s potassium chloride extended-release capsules — indicated to treat or prevent hypokalemia — and its generic of contraceptive Loestrin 21 (norethindone acetate and ethinyl estradiol) tablets were both granted final approval, the company said.
