Fresh & Easy expands to Pasadena
PASADENA, Calif. Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market opened its 121st store in Pasadena at the intersection of California and Lake.
Fresh & Easy VP and general counsel Mary Kasper, Mayor Bill Bogaard and dozens of neighbors came out to celebrate the company's 65th Southern California-based location. The Pasadena Humane Society, a group that cares for abandoned and homeless animals, was also in attendance as the recipient of a $1,000 donation from Fresh & Easy. The organization was chosen by local residents and store staff.
"We are excited to continue opening and hiring for positions in new neighborhoods throughout Southern California, particularly in these tough economic times,"Kasper said. "We look forward to bringing fresh, wholesome food to our new neighbors here in Pasadena and we're excited to be part of the community."
In addition to the company's previously announced plans to open three more California-based stores on July 29, Fresh & Easy is scheduled to open another store in Delano, California, Aug. 19. Additionally, the company will be introducing over 1,000 new products to existing stores throughout this summer.
