WILBRAHAM, Mass. -- Shoppers looking for an early taste of summer can look forward to new flavors from Friendly's in the ice cream section.
Friendly's Ice Cream is introducing 10 all-new, one-of-a-kind sundae cups to supermarket freezers. Shoppers can take their pick of eight new everyday flavors, including Strawberry Cake Krunch and Cherry Chocolate Chunk, along with two limited edition options like Wattamelon, a unique take on Friendly's beloved Wattamelon Roll, and Crayola Color Me Sundae, a sundae cup version of Friendly's Crayola Decorate Your Own Ice Cream Cake.
"Friendly's sundae cups are an ice cream treat that's been enjoyed for years by adults and kids, alike, and we're thrilled to expand the lineup with ten all-new flavors," said Tim Hopkins, executive vice president of retail and manufacturing for Friendly's. "Our new sundae cups bring ice cream lovers the opportunity to enjoy modern flavors like salted caramel alongside tried and true classics like chocolate fudge. We now have a delicious sundae cup option for everyone to enjoy."
Friendly's sundae cups provide an element of convenience with their individual sizing and tops, which allow for easy, on-the-go snacking and storage.
Friendly's sundae cups retail for $1.49-$1.69 and are available for purchase in select grocery stores in Vermont, New York, Maine, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Connecticut. The limited edition Wattamelon sundae cup will be available through September, and the Crayola Color Me Sundae will be available through January.
